With a 5PM kick-off, this is an event the entire community looks forward to each year! The entries will begin lining up at the Laurens County Library at 4PM, so pick out your spot along the route early!

LAURENS YMCA REINDEER RUN

While in each location, enjoy a sip of a different wine and hors d’oeuvres. If you like what you taste, come back to the Main Street Laurens tent where you can purchase the wine by the bottle or the case! Also, as you stroll the beautiful square be sure to stop and enjoy the live music along the way.

Not a wine drinker? Don’t worry, we also have several non-alcoholic selections as well along the way. Plus, you can still take advantage of special pricing that evening.

Don’t forget to enjoy dinner before or after at one of our downtown restaurants.

This event is the opening celebration for our ever popular Downtown Farmers Market.

Booth spaces are available on a first come first served basis and are 12 feet wide by 10 feet deep. The event is open to crafters and non-profit organizations.

Despite the cold damp weather, we had a great turnout for this year’s Little River Bridge Run. Everyone had a great time and we had several runners tell us they’ll be back next year!

The courses are hilly and fast which can be a challenge, but you have beautiful scenery as you pass through several historic neighborhoods and our historic downtown square.

The event is open to all ages and levels of ability. Overall winners are awarded in both men’s and women’s divisions for both the 8K and the 5K. The top TWO finishers in each age category  are also awarded for both races (overall winners are not eligible for age groups awards).

So, lace up those shoes and join us on March 23, 2013!
